What fabric is used for lolita skirts? Many fabrics of lolita skirts are relatively fragile, and the skirts are all printed patterns, once the silk or snags will affect the eyebrows of this skirt.Diamond double knitted air layer

Lolita skirt fabric:

1. Chiffon

The scientific name is Georgette. Generally refers to light and thin silk fabrics. In addition to silk chiffon, the main components of all kinds of chiffon on the market are chemical fibers, including polyester, spandex and nylon. Generally speaking, it is easier to snag. But there are also some anti-spinning processes, but many have applied for patents, presumably this kind of fabric will be more expensive. There are many types of chiffon, and some of the names that are often heard are: ramie chiffon, pearl chiffon, thick chiffon, etc. I will explain to you one by one. Directly speaking, chiffon may be plain weave chiffon, which is generally 100% polyester. This is the easiest and easiest to snag! !

In fact, ramie chiffon has nothing to do with hemp. Shemp is just a kind of yarn organization. In fact, this fabric is generally a blend of polyester and nylon. Generally speaking (attention! Not all! Only most of them) are thinner, the yarn is thinner, may pilling, and the surface feels a bit numb. The degree of snagging is medium, and depending on the process, there may be almost no snagging. Pearl chiffon is a kind of fabric commonly used in many shirt petticoats. It is relatively thin and hangs down, and it feels a little cool when it touches the skin. It feels rusty and grainy. It feels more numb and not easy to touch. Snagging.

2. Man-made fibers (the so-called chemical fiber)

Tencel: a patented artificial fiber, which is more comfortable and soft, and has a good drape feeling. Generally speaking, it is easy to spin, the higher the tencel content, the easier it is. And this fabric is more delicate, so there are many things to pay attention to when washing. But... in fact, the ultimate destiny is to enter the washing machine qwq

Polyester: it is polyester fiber. Polyester or polyester fabrics with higher content are more wear-resistant, wrinkle-resistant and not easy to deform, but they are not breathable, have poor moisture absorption, and are prone to static electricity and pilling. Polyester fabrics can evolve into 10,000 different shapes according to the craft and weaving method, so it's a little bit not to say that 100% polyester is only used... After all, there is no way for a small skirt to touch the fabric before making a decision.

Sunshine hemp: a kind of chaotic hemp chiffon, the main component is polyester, it is easy to spin and may also pilling.

3. Natural fibers

Cotton: I don't need to talk about this fabric. Everyone knows a little bit. Even if they are all cotton fabrics, there is a big difference (nonsense) according to the different crafts, but if you take very detailed pictures, everyone should be able to imagine what the fabric looks like. And what I want to say is that in blended fabrics (see the next category "blends"), the higher the content of cotton, the better the air permeability, but the easier it is to wrinkle, and it is not so stiff and shiny. Pure cotton fabric does not allow balls, and it is not easy to spin unless it is particularly thin.

Shuanggong silk: This is actually just the name of the yarn. The fabric woven from Shuanggong silk is called Shuanggong silk. The fabric itself has traces of silk (not actually), so I don’t know whether it’s easy to spin or not... But according to the description of the fabric itself, I think there is still silk Possible.

Four, blended class

Polyester-cotton blended spinning: literally, it depends on the distribution ratio and weaving method. If the cotton content is higher, it will be easier to wrinkle and be more breathable and comfortable. If the polyester content is higher, it will be stiffer and less likely to wrinkle but will pilling. See the characteristics of cotton and polyester above for details. Polyester-cotton blended fabric can be said to be a kind of fabric that I like very much. It is relatively balanced in all aspects and is not easy to spin, and it is not expensive. The disadvantage is that it may pilling. If you see that there are everyday small skirts of this kind of fabric and the pictures look good, I think it can be considered.

Tencel cotton: There are actually two types of Tencel cotton, one is to woven Tencel yarn and cotton yarn together (interwoven), and the other is to directly mix Tencel and cotton into a yarn and then weave (blend ). This sounds more complicated, but you should understand by saying that: the skirt lining is generally made of interwoven Tencel cotton because it looks a bit like nylon, and the fabric may be blended Tencel because it looks It's more like cotton. Can't afford the ball, but there is a possibility of snagging.

Cotton and linen blended fabric: It has both the characteristics of cotton and linen. It has good breathability and moisture absorption and is not as soft as pure cotton, but it is easy to wrinkle. It is generally not easy to snag. Small skirts of country cla style and Chinese style are used more.
